YouTube University: database searching

Posted on July 30, 2007. Filed under: Home | Tags: |

Of course YouTube is great for skateboarding dog videos, but how about using it to assist you on research for your next paper! YouTube.com offers many valuable videos uploaded by professionals that may offer insight the next time you need help. In the first installment of ACCC’s “YouTube University” blog series, we will look at Boolean operators, what they are, and how they can help you better pinpoint relevant articles on your chosen topic. Boolean operators can be used in the library’s databases such as EbscoHost.

As always, if you need further assistance, someone is available to help you in-person at the library or by calling 609-343-4951 during regular business hours. Help is also available 24 hours a day through QandANJ.
