As we approach the middle of the semester, here are some studying tips to help keep your productivity in check:

1. Chew an unfamiliar gum or wear an unfamiliar scent while studying. If you chew the gum or spray the scent right before you take the test, it’ll jog your memory!

2. Leave a trail of candy down your book while reading. As you reach each new chapter or paragraph, you’ll be able to reward yourself with a piece of candy.

3. Use a program to block distracting sites on your computer for a set period of time. Check out either “Cold Turkey” for PCs or “Self Control” for Macs. (hint: try blocking social media sites like facebook, twitter, etc.)

Stay tuned for some more studying tips from Spangler Library!
