Now that Summer has officially began, here are some quick tips to help you excel in your summer classes, as well as, give you some time to have fun in the sun!

Plan ahead. One of the easiest steps you can take is to get organized and plan out your assignments and study sessions ahead of time. This way you know when you have to crack down on the books and when you have some free time for yourself.

Eliminate distractions. When it’s time to study and really focus on the task at hand put yourself in a quiet and stress-free environment. Also, silence your phones. You don’t want your concentration to break because you received a Facebook notification.

Take a break. One of the worst things you can do is study for a long period of time. After every 25-30 minutes take a quick 10 minute break. Grab a snack, get some fresh air, and give your brain some time to take in all the awesome new information it is learning.

Last, but not least… Remember to go outside and have some fun!
