ICYMI: Ted Talk Rachel Botsman – We’ve stopped trusting institutions and started trusting strangers

On February 7, 2017, the Atlantic Cape Community College campuses screened Rachel Botsman’s Ted Talk “We’ve stopped trusting institutions and started trusting strangers.”

Rachel Botsman is currently an author and visiting academic at Oxford University. Her title as Trust Researcher enables her to study and teach the ways technology is helping form trust between individuals. During her Ted Talk, Botsman identified that the people of today are starting to rely and put trust on strangers, in order to utilize platforms such as, Airbnb and Uber.
