ICYMI: Ted Talk Adam Foss – A prosecutor’s vision for a better justice system

In Case You Missed It:
On March 7, 2017, the Atlantic Cape Community College campuses screened Adam Foss’ Ted Talk “A prosecutor’s vision for a better justice system.”

Adam Foss is an Assistant District Attorney in the Juvenile Division of Suffolk County in Boston, Massachusetts. Foss is also the co-founder of the Roxbury CHOICE Program, which aims to build a transformative experience between defendants and the District Attorney’s Office.
Foss argued that not all defendants need to be locked up in our prisons and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. Instead, some violators, especially juveniles, should be given an opportunity for intervention. A reformed justice system will require prosecutors practice with this mind set and that all citizens keep those who wield life-altering power accountable.
